Byrnwyck Golfer Makes History at Augusta

Byrnwyck’s Amanda Doherty makes history….

The First Augusta National Women’s Amateur golf competition took place this weekend and Amanda Doherty was invited to play. An international field of 72 women amateurs from all over the world competed over 54 holes of stroke play. A cut was made after 36 holes, advancing the leading 30 players to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club. The final round was played at Augusta National today, Saturday, April 6 and included Amanda in the group of top 30 competitors. Today Amanda takes her place among great women athletes who are changing the world. Congratulations to Amanda for making history!
